Abtin Teb Fannavar (ATF) was founded in Pardis Technology Park in 2015. ATP started its job as a Knowledge-Based company by introducing first extrusion based bioprinter in Middle East (Abtin II). Abtin II has a modular design which its target market is research centres of medical universities of Iran. We believe that in 3D printing, one size does not fit all. By establishment in Dental Materials and Equipment Development Center, ATF introduced second generation of bioprinters called Abtin III which are based on LDM technology, which stands for “Liquid Deposition Modeling” (Aka “Robocasting”). Abtin III’ s target market is research centres of Hospitals and mainly optimized for application in manufacturing Tissue Replicating structures with application in biomedical engineering. This bioprinter does not need any high-pressure air supply to extrude printing material. This has led to much more compact and integrated system design. Abtin III is coming with a custom-made ink cartridge. Due to extremely high printing pressure of this bioprinter, we were forced to design our own custom-made metallic ink cartridge. We have a uni-body adaptor section on Abtin III bioprinter which can be used for accommodating different printing modules (i.e. Ceramic Ink Extruder, UV Curing Module, Melting Module and FDM module).
